Neon Colors, Stripes and Ripped jeans.

It has been really nice weather here in Florida! We are blessed to have such warm winter. So, bright neon colors, summer stripes and ripped vintage jeans were an easy decision for me on one of such days! I just wanted to feel and look relaxed and nonchalant.

I got really attracted to neon colors, especially neon yellow, but this color looks better on brunettes… I ended up getting a striped top, which was another attraction of mine, where yellow stripes were combined with white and bright blue ones. It came out really well! If you love the color that does not benefit you well, it may be a good idea to incorporate it into your outfit as part of the print, or as an accessory, like a purse, a belt or a scarf. Wearing bottoms, like skirts or pants in this color, may be a solution as well.

The golden rule about stripes is to know which stripes benefit your body type and follow the rule. If you are slim, it is ok to wear horizontal stripes. Otherwise, it would be better to wear vertical stripes, which visually makes you look slimmer. I would be careful with stripes in other directions as they may distort your naturally beautiful curves, no matter the body type.

Another thing I noticed, in order to achieve a fresher look, when wearing (neon) yellow clothes, add white metal accessories, not yellow metal accessories.

Finally, when wearing a loose fit top, put on a tank underneath and it would look more interesting than just wearing a plain loose top. Yet, wearing two tops is good for changing weather. It is warmer in two, but if it gets hot, you take one off:-)
